Rich was raised in Western Massachusetts and retired in Brewster, MA. He has been interested in photography since he bought his first camera (Pentax K1000) in 1980. Rich worked as an engineer for 42 years before retiring. Since retirement, Rich has been able to focus more on the creative right side of his brain through photography. He enjoys capturing the world through a camera lens. Many of his photos elicit fond memories of watching sunsets, bike rides on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, fishing at the canal or just enjoying nature as it unfolds in front of him. Since retiring on the Cape, most of Rich’s photos are of the beautiful places on Cape Cod, with a sprinkle of other sites around New England. Rich is a FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot and uses his drone as well as a DSLR and mirrorless cameras to capture some beautiful and unique photographs.
